Funryde app for iPhone and iPad

Funryde uses a smartphone app to match up, on demand and in real time, ad hoc riders who want to go somewhere, with everyday drivers who are willing to pick them up along their way. Once a match is made, the riders can sit and watch as their pickups approach on the screen. Upon reaching their destination, they pay through the app, rate the driver, get rated, and the transaction is concluded.

Funryde offers everyday drivers the potential to offset their vehicle costs, while offering riders affordability and an interesting social experience.

Funryde has safety as a top priority. We check and verify government-issued IDs for both riders and drivers, and we track and log all trips made through the system. We have thorough process for registering drivers and we take consent for doing background checks, both criminal and driving records, and we ensure vehicle is in good driving condition for the road.

Funryde fills an important gap in transport options. It is more affordable than taxis and minicabs, and much more comfortable and faster than trains and buses. Further, our on-demand realtime technology allows us to cater for short distance rides, previously uncovered by traditional ridesharing services.
